Aperture

Aperture refers to the opening in the lens that controls the amount of light that enters the camera. It is represented by an f-number, which indicates the size of the aperture. A smaller f-number corresponds to a larger aperture and vice versa. The aperture also affects the depth of field, or the range of distance in an image that appears sharp.
