Clipping
Clipping in photography refers to the loss of detail in the highlights or shadows of an image due to over or underexposure. When an image is clipped, the detail in the affected areas is completely lost and cannot be recovered in post-processing. It's important to keep an eye on the histogram and adjust the exposure accordingly to avoid clipping.
