Continuous lighting

Continuous lighting refers to a type of lighting that stays on during the entire photography session, as opposed to flash or strobe lighting which only flashes briefly. Continuous lighting is often used in video and film production, but can also be used in still photography for specific purposes such as light painting or long-exposure photography.
