Flash sync speed

Flash sync speed refers to the fastest shutter speed that can be used when using flash photography. This is because the camera needs to synchronize the firing of the flash with the opening of the shutter to capture the image properly. If the shutter speed is faster than the flash sync speed, only part of the image will be illuminated by the flash.
