Sensor size

The sensor size is the physical dimensions of the camera's image sensor, which captures the light and turns it into a digital image. Larger sensors can capture more light and produce better image quality, particularly in low light conditions. Common sensor sizes include full-frame (36mm x 24mm), APS-C (22.2mm x 14.8mm), and Micro Four Thirds (17.3mm x 13mm).
