Negative space

In photography, negative space refers to the empty or blank areas surrounding the main subject or subjects in an image. This space can help to draw attention to the subject, create balance and harmony, and give the viewer a sense of the environment or setting. Negative space can be created through careful composition, using elements such as lines, shapes, and textures to guide the viewer's eye and emphasize the subject.
